Agent Savanna — Shopify Analytics App

1. Who We Are

Agent Savanna is operated by Agentti Savanni Oy, Business ID 3555811-9, Espoo, Finland.

2. What You're Agreeing To

By installing Agent Savanna, you ("Merchant", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please review them before using the service.

These Terms govern your use of the Agent Savanna application, including all features, AI-generated content, and related services.

3. The Service

Agent Savanna connects to your Shopify store via the Shopify API to extract and analyse your store data, generate metrics, and deliver AI-powered insights and reports.

The types of data we access and the features we offer may expand over time — including connections to third-party platforms you authorise. We'll update these Terms and our Privacy Policy when significant changes occur.

4. Early Access

Agent Savanna is currently in Early Access. This means:

All features are included at no cost during the Early Access period
Early Access users are limited
We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time
We'll give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans

5. Your Data

What We Access

We access your Shopify store data solely to provide the service. The specific data we process is described in our Privacy Policy. The types of data we process may evolve as we develop new features and integrations.

Data Region

Your store data is stored on Google Cloud Platform in the EU (region europe-west1, Belgium).

Data Retention

Active use: Your data is retained while the app is installed.
After uninstall: Your store's operational data is deleted promptly upon uninstallation. Your generated insights are retained for 30 days — so they are restored if you reinstall — and are then permanently deleted. If you wish to retain a copy of your insights, contact us to request an export before that period ends. We keep only a pseudonymised record that your store previously used the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
On request: You can request deletion of your data at any time. Deletion is carried out without undue delay.

Third-Party Platform Connections

Integrations with external platforms such as advertising or analytics services are always merchant-initiated and require your explicit authorisation. These currently include read-only connections to Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads. Data from one connected platform is never shared with another.

You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from within the app. Disconnecting revokes our access and deletes the stored credential and the data derived from that platform. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Data and Insights — Your Property

Your store data remains your property at all times. AI-generated insights and reports produced by Agent Savanna from your store data are also your property. You may use, reference, and share your insights freely to inform your business decisions and with your trusted partners such as agencies or consultants.

You grant us a limited licence to access and process your store data solely for the purpose of providing the Agent Savanna service. This licence ends when you uninstall the app or request data deletion.

If you wish to retain a copy of your insights, contact us — insights are permanently deleted 30 days after the app is removed.

Our Application — Our Property

The Agent Savanna application — including its source code, design, user interface, AI workflows, analytical methodology, prompt engineering, data processing pipelines, and branding — is the intellectual property of Agentti Savanni Oy. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to these beyond using the service as intended.

Restrictions

You may not:

Use AI-generated content, the app's analytical methodology, or any part of the service to build, train, or improve competing products or services
Systematically copy or reproduce the structure, format, or methodology of the app's outputs for use outside the service
Reverse engineer our AI workflows or analytical processes through the outputs they produce

These restrictions protect our technology and methodology — not your right to use your own business insights.

Aggregate and Anonymised Data

We may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from the operation of the service (such as general usage patterns and performance benchmarks) to improve the service. This data cannot be linked back to your store or used to identify you. Data received from Google APIs is not used for these purposes — it is used solely as described in Section 5 and our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or its AI systems
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the app beyond your own store's data
Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Shopify's terms
Attempt to access other merchants' data or circumvent store isolation
Resell or commercially redistribute any part of the service
Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Agent Savanna available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service — especially during Early Access. We may:

Perform maintenance with or without notice
Experience downtime due to third-party dependencies (Shopify API, cloud infrastructure, AI providers)
Modify or discontinue features

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination and Suspension

You Can Leave Anytime

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Your store data will be deleted per Section 5. If you wish to retain a copy of your insights, contact us before uninstalling.

We Can Suspend or Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

Violate these Terms
Use the service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure
Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity

We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you before suspension, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the service or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the service ends. Your ownership of insights generated from your data is not affected by termination. You may request a copy of your insights within 30 days of termination, after which your data will be deleted.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Specifically:

AI-generated insights and recommendations are informational only — not financial, legal, or business advice
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content
AI systems can make mistakes. Insights are based on the data available in your store and the capabilities of our AI systems at the time of generation
You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any insights or recommendations. We are not liable for business outcomes, investments, or resources spent based on AI-generated content — whether the result is positive, negative, or neutral
You should use your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice before making business decisions based on insights

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption
We are not liable for actions or omissions of third-party services (Shopify, cloud providers, AI model providers)
We are not liable for any business decisions you make based on AI-generated content, or for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from acting on recommendations provided by the service

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, your remedy is to uninstall the app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in the District Court of Western Uusimaa (Länsi-Uudenmaan käräjäoikeus), Finland — unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

14. General

This is the whole agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, are the complete agreement between you and us. No other promises or documents apply unless referenced here.
Invalid clauses don't break the rest. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, everything else still applies.
We can be flexible without losing our rights. If we don't enforce a provision in one case, that doesn't mean we've waived it — we can still enforce it later.
We can transfer this agreement. If Agentti Savanni Oy is acquired or merges with another company, these Terms transfer to the new entity. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms to someone else.
